What the eff is wrong with me?! I'm breaking down over a stupid poster board. The lady who is "over" me who I did NOT sign up to work with (I volunteered when another lady asked me to and was answering my questions that I loved working with) told me I did not need one that they would make one for me. Yet EVERY single other booth fucking has one. I feel so underprepared and stupid. To make matters worse the lady who I'm pissed off at that told me I didn't need one approached me and of course I said I felt underprepared because I don't have a poster board. Then quickly walked away to avoid the rainfall of tears that hasn't stopped. Now I'm sitting in a corner waiting for the stupid rainfall to stop. And I just looked in the mirror and my eyes are bright red. Fuck.

    Thanks, lady! I dealt with it the next day. Actually, a mom came up to me and calmed me down by telling me not to do it if it was freaking me out that bad. She said I need to draw my boundaries and not do the things I'm not comfortable doing, especially because it's just volunteering. What were they gonna do, fire me? The mom saying so is volunteering queen, super mom, and super career woman, as well, so I'm definitely listening to her. Love her.

    yes good idea! just say NO! I have learnt more to put my foot down w people! I dont need their SH____T! I am at the age where- I have to say Yes and No and feel good about my choice- I dont care if they r not pleased- its my feelings involved and if I am not comfortable- too bad!!!
    In the end- when day is done- you have to feel what u did is Best for YOU. thats awesome she sounds like she has some good healthy boundaries- good on her!

    Aw, thanks, girl. Love your encouraging words!! And you put it so perfectly, at the end of the day you have to feel what you did is best for you. Love these words! And, yes, she definitely does have healthy boundaries - definitely inspiring!
